After struggling with an incorrect contact lens prescription from another office, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Forniss, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I received. From the moment I arrived, Dr. Forniss was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. She took the time to carefully examine my eyes, listened to my concerns, and thoroughly explained my eye health in a way that was easy to understand. I never felt rushed, and she answered all of my questions with patience and genuine care. Most importantly, she found the correct contact lens prescription that immediately gave me noticeably clearer vision. The difference was instant, and I finally felt confident that my concerns had been heard and addressed. It was such a relief after weeks of discomfort and frustration. I also appreciated that she provided helpful recommendations on how to better care for my eyes and maintain good eye health. Her communication was outstanding, and it was clear that she truly cares about her patients and wants the best outcome for them. Overall, this was one of the best experiences I’ve had with an eye doctor. I left feeling informed, cared for, and confident in my vision. As long as I’m living in Indiana, Dr. Forniss will be my eye doctor. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an optometrist who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated to providing excellent patient care.

I had a high eye prescription since I was in kindergarten, and by the time I met Dr. Forniss around 2021(around 29 years old) I had already been informed by many eye doctors that I wouldn’t qualify for lasik eye surgery. Dr. Forniss was so thorough, and ended up telling me about PRK; she had the right contacts and explained the entire procedure. It has been around 4 years since that procedure and my vision is still at 20/15 in both eyes! Also, her team is amazing and thorough in emergencies. Dr. Forniss is definitely the GOAT, and I am forever grateful to her for her help on many different occasions.

Love this office and Dr. Forniss! It's a small and intimate office setting. Dr. Forniss spent a lot of time going over my test results, answering my questions, and gave me contacts that actually work and don't leave me with dry eyes or blurry vision! 10/10! Would highly recommend her!
